The credit for Volleyball goes to William G. Morgan. He "set-up" the game in 1895 at a YMCA in Massachusetts. In 1964 Volleyball was sanctioned as an official sport of the Olympic Games. Annual tournaments are held for women and men's teams, and mixed teams for boys and girls. Volleyball is a spirited game for young people and adults, because it offers a lot of exercise, a lot of fun and a lot of challenge.
