Using Templates to create Schedules provides you with more control over when your Games
are played. The greater efficiency and flexibility of Templates generally means less Editing
of individual Games after the schedules initial creation. However,
Template Schedules
typically take more time to make.
The Templates you make will be available when you select the Template Scheduling Method
from the Divisions page, and the number of Teams in the
Division match the number of Teams in the Template.
Templates are created in a 3 Step popup "Wizard." The first step gives you more general
information about using Templates to your advantage. Click the Next button to continue.
Enter the number of Teams participating, the number of Regular Season Rounds, the number of
Playoff Rounds, and optionally a short (20 characters max.) Comment. Click the Next
button to continue.
NOTE: If there are no Playoff rounds in your Schedule, simply put 0 ("zero")
in that field.
Select each Regular Season and Playoff round from the drop down lists, matchup the
Teams or Ranks from the smaller drop down lists under each Round. Click the
Add Round or Add Playoff buttons respectively. Repeat this process until all your matchups
have been added. Click the Finish button when you are done to save your Template for future use and close the window, or click the Back
button to change the numbers your entered originally.
This will erase all the rounds you have previously added.
