To Add a New Schedule to a Division with a Template, select a Current Seasons,
set the Scheduling Method to Template,
and click on the
Add a Schedule
to this Division icon in the Options column next to the Division's Name.
From here creating a new Schedule is divided into 7 Steps.
NOTE: You can select multiple items from most of the following lists using the
Shift or Ctrl keys.
Step #1:
Any Templates you have previously setup for the number of Teams (TM) in Division being Scheduled,
will appear in the drop down list. Select the Template that best matches the number of Rounds (RD) and
and Playoffs (PO) you require. Otherwise click, the Add Templates link to create a new Template.
Step #2: The Game Times you have setup for this Division's Sport will
appear in the list on the left. If you have not set any Game Times for this Sport,
click on the Edit Time List link and follow the steps outlined for
Setting up Game Times. Select all of the Game Times
you would like to have Games Scheduled from this list and then click the Add button.
The Game Times you selected will be moved from the Available list to the Selected
list. To change Game Times back to being Available, select them from the Selected
list and click on the Remove button.
Step #3: The Fields you have setup for this Division's Facilities will
appear in the list on the left. If you have not set any Fields or Facilities for this Sport,
click on the Edit Facilities link and follow the steps outlined for
Setting up Facilities and Fields, or alternatively you
could check the Show All Facilities box to show all your League's Fields
regardless
of the Sport with which they are associated. Select all of the Fields on which
you would like to have Games Scheduled from this list and then click the Add button.
The Fields you selected will be moved from the Available list to the Selected
list. To change Fields back to being Available, select them from the Selected
list and click on the Remove button. You can also select to
distribute the Games in each Round to One Facility or All Facilities.
Step #4: You have two options to select which days you would like your Schedules to use.
If you would like to Schedule Games on the same
reoccurring days use the checkboxes labeled with
each day of the week. For example, if you would like to only Schedule on weekends, only check the
Sat and Sun boxes. If you would like to be more specific with the Dates you wish to
Schedule click the Select Dates button. This will open a popup window with a
Calendar. Use the navigation controls to change the Month and Year, and
place select the checkboxes on every Date you wish to use for Scheduling. When you are
done, click the Finished button to populate the list of Exact Dates. The Clear
button will uncheck all checkboxes on the page.
Step #5: If you have any specific Dates you wish not to use in Scheduling
regardless of what Day they may fall on click the Select Dates button. This will open a popup window with a
Calendar. Use the navigation controls to change the Month and Year, and
place select the checkboxes on every Date you wish to use for Scheduling. When you are
done, click the Finished button to populate the list of Blackout Dates. The Clear
button will uncheck all checkboxes on the page.
Step #6: Review the Teams you have selected for this Schedule. If changes to the number of Teams
are necessary, click on the Edit Teams link.
Step #7: Finally select the type of Administration Interface you would like to use to
Edit the Schedule about to be generated. You can select to show all the games at once,
where you can press a button to edit any Games info, or you can show pages of 10 games at a time,
which relies more heavily on drop down menus.
Review your Games and make any necessary changes. When you are finished click the
Create Schedule button to finalize your Schedule. Any further editing can be
done in the Edit Schedules section.
